Dragon Fruit
The dragon fruit (Buah Naga) that you can find in the local
supermarket is in fact a fruit from a cactus. Called the Pitaya in
Thailand and the Queen of the night in North America, it is one of the
many species in the Cactaceae family grown for its edible fruit. The
plant is a perennial climbing regimented cactus with triangular fleshy
stems growing to a height of 1-3 meters or more. It is an epiphyte and
its aerial roots attach themselves to various types of supports as it
grows

Dragon Fruit Desserts
The dragon fruit is exotically delicious on its own, eaten as
cut fruit. The red variety we are showing here has a special flavour
compared to the white variety which can be quite bland.
